What affects your rate

Your final rate is agreed in writing after your free assessment. These are the things that usually make a difference:

  • How long each visit is and how often you would like one
  • The time of day — early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Whether one carer is enough, or two are needed for safe moving and handling
  • Specialist support such as dementia care or complex medication
  • Overnight or live-in care, which is quoted separately

Included in every rate

  • A free home assessment and a written, person-centred care plan
  • DBS-checked, fully trained carers
  • A small, consistent team rather than a rotating stranger
  • Ongoing supervision from a registered manager
  • 24/7 on-call support for families and carers
  • No hidden fees and no long-term contract

Companionship & support
What do home care services cost?

Companionship and domestic support starts from £23 per hour and personal care starts from £25 per hour. Night care, live-in care, dementia support and medication support are quoted individually, because the cost depends on the level of support you need.

Is there a charge for the assessment?

No. Your free, no-obligation home assessment is followed by a written care plan and a clear quote, so you know the cost before any care starts.

What is the shortest visit you offer?

Visits start at 30 minutes — £11.50 for companionship or £12.50 for personal care — and can be as long as a waking night or full live-in care.

What is included in the hourly rate?

The carer's time, their DBS checks and training, your written care plan, ongoing supervision and our 24/7 on-call team. There are no hidden fees and no long-term contract.

Can you help me understand funding options?

Yes. We will explain local authority funding, NHS continuing healthcare and self-funding in plain language, and tell you honestly which route is likely to apply to your situation.

Do your rates change?

Your agreed rate is confirmed in writing and stays the same unless we discuss a change with you first. We will always tell you before anything changes.
